experience in estimating the construction of school facilities under
the jurisdiction of the California Division of the State Architect.
Ability

Position Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in an applicable

Familiarity with the construction process and a willingness to learn.
If a Student Intern wishes to work part-time, work must be performed
within the regular 8 hour work day as specified by their immediate supervisor.
Student Interns must be able to commit to working a minimum of 24 hours
per week.
Responsibilities:
Duties will vary with assignment. May include assistance to Project
Engineers and Project Managers at various construction sites within
LAUSD. This would involve working as part of the project team to accomplish
the construction of a school project.
May include assistance to Management within the Construction Department
at the Los Angeles Headquarters location. This could involve working
as support to the Furnishing and Equipment (F&E) group coordinating
the delivery and installation of F&E items at new school sites.
