Project Management provided a full range of project controls
services for this $200 million OSHPD medical center. This 534,000
square foot project includes 360 beds, 12 operating suites, and outpatient
ambulatory services clinics. Construction also included 1.5 miles
of off-site access roads, full infrastructure improvements, a 96-inch
diameter flood control pipeline, a helipad, state-of-the-art communications
systems and a sheriffs security ward. Our scope of work included cost
analysis, developing cash flow projections, funding analysis, project
scheduling, construction phasing, equipment scheduling, construction
coordination, document control, issue tracking, claims analysis, and
move-in coordination. We also developed a comprehensive Work Breakdown
Structure (WBS) and an integrated cost control and accounting system
for use throughout the County of Riverside, Department of Building
Services. We prepared a detailed bidability review
on the infrastructure construction contract bid documents and the
voice / data package bid documents. We also participated in the prequalification
of general contractors and selection of the Inspector of Record.
